To be a friend, you must first show yourself friendly. We say that often but what does it really mean? It means that you must place your friend's needs/concerns/well-being before yours and to come out of thinking that it's all about you. You show care and concern for someone else and their needs. We sometimes get caught up in our lives and with our own things that are going on so we become an island. We forget to call/text, visit, and reach out. Sometimes we have to put those things aside and check in on someone else to make sure they are okay. You never know when a quick call, a quick hello or a quick visit will make someone feel a whole lot better. Take time out today to not only be a friend but to be friendly.
If your words do not line up with your actions, I will believe your actions. Actions don't lie but words do.
